THE INFLUENCER

"In Westbound, the only thing more valuable than a life is the footage of its end."

Welcome to Westbound, Utah—a decaying town where the dust is thick, the economy is stagnant, and the townspeople have found a chilling new currency: online engagement.

When a mysterious viral livestream known only as The Influencer begins orchestrating public rituals and countdowns in exchange for economic investment and local prosperity, the entire community watches through the cold, blue glow of their smartphone screens. For teenage Lizzy Miller, trapped in a double-wide trailer with a mother who secretly engineered the very algorithms now destroying society, the terror hits dangerously close to home. As the view counts skyrocket and the sacrifices grow deadlier, Lizzy must realise a terrifying truth: the monster isn't coming from outside. It’s living inside the screens of everyone she knows.

Blending high-octane pulp satire with dark dystopian techno-horror in the tradition of Stephen King's Cell and Under the Dome, THE INFLUENCER is a razor-sharp warning about our modern obsession with likes, trends, and digital performance.
