UENK Pulpworks was born from my love for films and books. Inspiration also came from current global political situations and visual sparks from art forms like propaganda posters. I combined this with today's trend for short, fast content. So I started writing punchy stories under the name UENK (pronounced: dunk without a D).
On this website, you'll find my short stories and novellas available via Amazon. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed writing them.
This is biting satire that hooks fast. Join the pulp revolution – we cut through fake news with real stories

The Don in Greenland
The Don in Greenland is a biting satire where aging New York real estate mogul Dino "The Don" Trumpino launches an ill-fated McDonald's franchise in McDonald's-less Greenland, inspired by Trump's real-life Arctic ambitions. His aggressive Trump-style tactics—lawsuits, public shaming, and Russian muscle—backfire spectacularly when locals embrace their qivitoq burgers and boycott his "cultural poisoning." Deserted by his team and vomiting reindeer into Big Mac cups, The Don retreats, plotting his next "tremendous" failure.
Escape from Pyongyang
When South Korean sergeant Lim Gyu-nam gets lost behind enemy lines, he secretly plans his escape from a regime that has disillusioned him.
When a junior soldier uncovers his plot and flees first, Gyu-nam faces arrest, torture, and relentless pursuit by his childhood friend, Major Li Hyeon-sang.
Battling minefields, snipers, and betrayal, he escapes with his dying comrade's necklace – racing toward South Korean freedom.
Shot and crawling across the border, Gyu-nam is rescued by South Korean troops just in time, defying certain death.
One year later, a free man in the South, he honors his fallen friend and builds a hopeful new life.
Scarlett Ninja in Peru
Elite operative Scarlet Ninja, a red-clad assassin trained in ancient shadows, infiltrates the misty Andes after a cryptic distress call from his mentor. Shadowy cartels and corrupt officials guard a hidden artifact – the "Andean Eclipse" – said to control minds.
Battling booby-trapped ruins, venomous wildlife, and double-crossing locals, he uncovers a plot tying global politics to lost Incan power. A final showdown atop Machu Picchu tests her skills against the Shadow Master.
Scarlet Ninja, escapes with the artifact destroyed, but at great personal cost – setting up sequels.
